MMTTA Activities
Marlow Marly-Le-Roi Town Twinning Association (MMTTA) exists to help foster friendship and fellowship between the towns and the inhabitants of Marlow and Marly-Le-Roi, France. Well, how do we do this and what else happens in MTTA?

There is an annual exchange visit when Twinners visit each other's town. The visits alternate, one year in Marly and then a return visit to Marlow in the following year.

MTTA Pétanque Club has been a member of the Thames Valley Pétanque League since 1989. We have three teams playing in midweek and weekend leagues. For more information contact : rogerc.smith @btinternet.com

Encourage and facilitate exchange visits by schools, clubs, societies and individuals.

MMTTA organises French language conversation classes for its members. The levels range from beginner/improver to advanced and the groups are hosted and led by French speaking MMTTA members. For more information email enquiries @marlowtowntwinning.co.uk.

Hold regular dinner/supper/social events to meet other members and discuss twinning and enjoy ourselves with entertainment and speakers.

Make trips and visits with French associated themes.

Help ensure that communication is kept open between Marly and Marlow, at both association and civic level. Town Twinning and council representatives attend respective armistice services and Marly Councillors are always welcome guests at the Marlow town regatta and festival.

Lastly but not least we issue regular newsletters to keep members updated on events in Marly and Marlow.
